Its been quite a while since I did some serious blogging.
I made a quick trip to my hometown last week. Did my chores and managed to dig out some photos which I've promised Ivelina. She wanted to see this part of continent, so therefore, here they are!
These were taken sometimes back when my friends and I travelled to Langkawi Island for a quick getaway.Langkawi Island is located at the northern part of Malaysia, near to the border of Thailand. A beautiful island resort and has been gazzetted as a perfect tourists destination in this region.

Tasik Dayang Bunting (Lake of the Pregnant Maiden)
One of the most famous place in Langkawi. How it got it's name (Pregnant Maiden)? Can you see a shape of a pregnant lady lying on her back, from the outlines of the mountains?
The Paddy Field
We stopped for a snapshot at one of the paddy field in Langkawi. Really love the tranquility of the 'kampong' scenery.
Morning has broken
Fortunately for us, the Cenang beach located just across our hotel. Took a morning walk to catch the morning breeze and listening to the waves Ahhh...they say, you should watched sunrise at least once a year!
Sunset at Pantai Pasir Hitam
Here we were at Pantai Pasir Hitam (Black Sand Beach) sitting on the rock, gazing the sunset. Oh, and its a splendid view.
Pulau Besar Singa
Went for our island hopping trip. We were at the lookout point of Pulau Besar Singa - One of the small islands at Langkawi. Beautiful blue sea, but the weather was scorching hot!
