As it is also not possible to do best in the industry at the time of such recession.
Humans need to learn that we can never bring wealth to our tomb. What are we leaving behind that can be beneficial to our next generation? Hatred, resentment, greed?

We have once heard the city flooded with books and business seminars that touch on re-engineering our corporate and workforce. Ultimately, the message should be re-engineering ourselves with good universal values. Then only we have hope in our next generation of leaders. If the society or politics keep on promoting racial based agendas, there will never be any common ground for coming together for mutual prosperity.
The world seriously needs to re-engineer itself with leaders embedded with peace values.

The oil price is now at US$80 per barrel, after surging so high in the past few months. The analogy of buying eggs, is a temporary measure to curb the rising prices set by gas stations; more on domestic use.

However, if we look within the global point of view, I definitely have to agree on your perspective.

Gas is a natural resource where the quantity is depreciating daily. And as we all know, when things become scare, the value goes up!

Thanks for your generous view on this topic. I'm glad, we share the same sentiment.

Have a nice day, Don! :)

In response to:The oil price and what we can do about it

Sorry, the logic doesn't work. They are buying just as many eggs every week/month/year. There would be a very short (half a week) drop in demand, then it would average out the same. No, the only real way to force prices down is to use less gas on average. And that is only temporary -- gas is becoming more expensive because it is a non-renewable resource, the same as land (and water, if you think about it). Things that grow are renewable. Things that don't, aren't.
